We’ve started our gardenconcert-tour in this beautiful garden (with great hosts) in Noordwolde Friesland. The audience was wonderful, even when the guys had to retune 300 times during this little concert. We’re looking forward to all the other concerts, next up: Graauw, Zeeland.

Handcrafted coasters, two locations, apple pie, cherries, tears and a lot of smiles! Garden concert day 3 was very special, once again we realize how amazing it is to move people in a live concert.
We have the best job in the world!

Unfortunately our concert in Winterswijk will be postponed due to the weather forecast.
So next up: Wenum-Wiesel!

Sunshine, wild flowers, buzzing babyphones, bunnahabhain whisky, curious cows and Italian approved pasta. Day 4 of our garden concert tour brought us to a vegetable garden in Wenum-Wiesel. As soon as we started setting up the sun came out and we had an amazing evening with beautiful people.

Screeching owls, singing chickens, sunshine, umbrella’s and a partytent. Day 5 of our garden concert tour brought us to Tineke’s hometown and with that many known faces! The first concert was filled with sun, the second concert covered in raindrops.

Real Picolit wine, popping prosecco, perfect Italian background, umbrella’s, lots of wind and a little rain. The last day of our gardenconcert tour in the Netherlands, Ede, was a little scary due to the weather-forecast. A prosecco in one hand and an umbrella in the other.

One of the visitors ordered us a very exclusive bottle of the wine we are named after: Picolit. We toasted to the amazing week we had, our wonderful hosts and all the beautiful people we met. Thank you all so much!

We don’t think there are any words needed.. just a public rehearsal in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Smoldering charcoal, homemade sausage from the Dolomite highlands, prosecco, again a dreamlike view and a dog. “Gardenconcert” nr 8 where the earth meets the sky in Zoppe di Cadore.

Tuinconcert next level

Nestled in the magnificent embrace of the roof of the world, cool mountain air, the gentle murmur of an alpine brook, sunshine on our shoulders and the sound of music long past cascading through the idyllic wild.

So wonderful to be in the lovely town of Garganta la Olla, where time stands still. Cradled deep in the mountains where every “calle” is like a voyage back in time. Instead of bringing the past back to life, our musical journey lead us to a place where the joys and hardships of a forgotten way of life still gently breathe the cool mountain air.

From the lowlands of Friesland to the alpine highlands of Val di Cadore and the sun drenched slopes of the Sierra de Gredos, our summer journey has been a wonderful collage of beautiful vistas and people. In the haunting beautiful confines of the Parador of Jarandilla de la Vera, we bid a joyous farwell to our summer tour with the peaceful lullaby An Evening Hymn echoing through the walls and corridors nearly as old as time itself.
